Mince Pasta Bake INGREDIENTS 500g Beef Mince 2 clove garlic crushed 1 Onion diced 1 Tin Chopped Tomatoes Rosemary & Sweet Basil (dried or fresh for taste) 2 cups of dried pasta, cooked. 1 teaspoon oil Salt Pepper ½ cup grated cheese METHODPre-heat oven onto 180°C. Heat oil in a pan, add the onion and garlic and cook until onion is soft. Add the tinned tomatoes, bring to a boil then simmer until the tomatoes form a thick sauce. In a separate pan cook the mince until it is browned through then add to the tomato mixture and leave to simmer some more. While the sauce is cooking add the pasta to a pot of boiling water and simmer until cooked. Drain the water off the pasta then add to the mince, stir so the pasta mince and sauce are well combined. Pour into an oven dish and sprinkle over grated cheese. Bake for 20 minutes.
To make a full meal you may want to add extra vegetables like grated carrot, peas etc. to the mince. |
