Mini Cheese Burgers

Little and delicious! These are another snack you might want to put at child-proof height or there wont be any left for the big kids. This recipe makes 20 burgers. Double if needed.


1/2 cup chopped onion

1 tablespoon butter
1 egg, lightly beaten

500g Meat Cuisine Beef Mince
20 mini buns, split (if you can't find mini buns, just buy normal rolls and cut them in half widthways)
10 slices tasty cheese (halved)
10 rashers streaky bacon (cooked and halved widthways)
20 slices tomato

Salt and pepper to season


1.In a large pan, fry onion in butter.
2.Transfer to large bowl; add egg and seasonings. Add mince to mixture and mix well.
3. Roll mince into 20 little balls then flatten into burger patties, add to pan and fry until brown on both sides.
4.  Place bun halves on a baking tray so that the top of the bun sits on the tray and leave under grill to crisp up...keep an eye on them so they don't burn!
5. Remove buns from oven.
6.Place a mini mince pattie onto all of the bottom buns, then add the cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato.
7. Squirt a small amount of mayonnaise on all of the top buns then put these on top of the burgers.
8. You may want to stick toothpicks down through the middle to keep them in one piece.
9. Serve with some hot chips and a cold drink. Enjoy!
