1.Mix sherry, soy sauce and water well. Set aside.
2.Dice garlic and cut all remaining beef and vegetables into very thin slices.
3.Cook steak in wok until it is done to your liking. Remove steak to serving dish.
4.Place mushrooms, garlic and a splash of cooking oil in wok. Cook over high heat, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes.
5.Add capsicums and continue cooking for 1 minute. Add carrot and asparagus, and cook 2 more minutes. Add steak and sauce. Stir. Remove from heat immediately. Serves 4.
